Japanese Temari balls are a Japanese craft from the 7th century and Temari means handball. Originally used as toys but today used as decorations and accessories. Traditionally given by parents to children but nowadays used for weddings and ceremonial occasions to bring the recipient health and happiness . Every pattern is different. The Temari starts off as a knotted piece of thread continuously wound round to form the ball shape and then the pattern is made.
Each ball takes 2 to 3 days to make
