Handmade fused Stud Earrings. All Jewellery is completely individual and original. The glass is fused by a high firing process using a mixture of oxides, coloured glass and copper, and the kiln does the rest! Because its a natural process, the glass forms itself into different shapes and patterns, so they may not be perfectly round and they might have bubbles. I try to match the glass into pairs for the earrings but they’ll never match perfectly because no two pieces of glass are the same. They should be similar in size shape , colour and work well together……. but I think this just makes them more interesting!!
The traditional findings are Stirling Silver (these aren’t handmade but they are very carefully selected!) with butterfly backs to hold them securely.
And just to make them even more special, the glass used is left over and recycled from other projects so there is minimal waste, and we try to use recyclable/recycled packaging as much as we can.
